Joy Gaston joins the Beatrice office. She has 29 years in the real estate profession and has been a Million Dollar producer for the past 20 years. She is a Broker with experience in residential, commercial and agricultural sales. She and her husband, Larry, live in Fairbury, Nebraska where they also farm. Jana Robertson joins the Beatrice office. As an Associate Broker with Woods Bros Realty, she has worked in the real estate industry for over 10 years. During that time, she has surpassed $30 million in sales and has represented both buyers and sellers in real estate transactions. She holds a Broker’s license in the State of Nebraska and a Broker/officer license in the State of Missouri. She enjoys sharing her real estate knowledge with clients in the hopes of not only satisfying a client, but educating the client through the process of buying and selling real estate.

Jana resides in the city of Beatrice, Nebraska along with her husband, Rob, and stepson, Kyler. She is an active member of Holy Cross Church and serves on the Public Relations committee for the Tri-County Board of Realtors. Marilyn Christensen joins the Country Club Plaza office. She grew up in Columbus, Nebraska. She moved to Lincoln to be closer to her family. Nebraska ranks #2! July 26th, 2011

No not the preseason college football ranking poll, but almost as important, Nebrasaka has the second lowest unemployment rate in the country. The numbers for June are in from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the rankings are a follows;

North Dakota 3.2%
Nebraska 4.1%
South Dakota 4.8%
New Hampshire 4.9%
Oklahoma 5.3%

With the national average at 9.2% and with California and Nevada coming in at 11.8% and 12.4% respectively it points out that the ecomony is, to a very great degree, a local phenomonem. Our message; don’t base your house buying or selling plans on what you hear from the national news media outlets.
