In my opinion the tax credit only worked to inflate home prices for a short time. And when some lenders figured out a way to get the tax credit available in advance for a down payment, then we were back to much of what caused many of the problems from before. I think buyers should be required to provide a minimun of their saved money for a down payment. But today's low, LOW interest rates are so good it's a shame more people aren't taking advantage of them to make this investment. I agree Jon. He was always a gracious man and he had an open door policy. When you went to his office, you always had to greet Skye first, if Skye would let you pass, you could talk to the boss.
