Good point, Dan! Here is the link to the other months of statistics, and we'll be sure to include the percentages going forward. I try to take the relevant, apples-to-apples comparisons, and as a closing month, the numbers next to last November's original end of the tax credit were very poor.

I see the comparison for how many more you have listed over last month and over last November. But where is the comparison for how your number of sales went compared to the same times?

I agree Jon. In my opinion the tax credit only worked to inflate home prices for a short time. And when some lenders figured out a way to get the tax credit available in advance for a down payment, then we were back to much of what caused many of the problems from before. I think buyers should be required to provide a minimun of their saved money for a down payment. But today's low, LOW interest rates are so good it's a shame more people aren't taking advantage of them to make this investment.

At new agent training in 1994, Pace was the speaker for the new group of agents that I was with. He shared a few humbling stories at his own expense of mistakes he made when he was newly licensed. These were mistakes he did not want us to make. He was always a gracious man and he had an open door policy. When you went to his office, you always had to greet Skye first, if Skye would let you pass, you could talk to the boss. I have great memories of Pace and will miss him.
